For Bollywood 2008 has been a year of surprises. Some movies rumored to break box-office records couldn't see a week's run while low budget experiments stole the show. The year saw the best and the worst makeovers, the most intelligent and the corniest of films, dramas, comedies, remakes and of course as a good mix of Bollywood's hits and misses.

Buzz18.com has announced its much awaited year end poll results today. This online poll conducted over eight days, invited its users to vote under various categories.

"We received an overwhelming response under 18 categories. Some the results were somewhat predictable. But others took us somewhat by surprise." We always look forward to new trends that emerge through our annual poll and always provide something new and exciting to our users".

To being with, it was raining votes for Ghajini all the way.

Ghajini was also voted as the 'Most violent film of the year'

Asin was chosen as the 'Hottest southern import into Bollywood'

Amongst the ladies Priyanka Chopra got a clear thumbs up for her gold swimsuit in Dostana with a whopping 58% votes and Kareena's size zero and green bikini in Tashan trailed next with a mere 13%.
