Priyanka, Akshay finally make up

Actors Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra never spoke to each other after rumours of their link-up were doing the rounds, about six years ago. Whenever their paths crossed, they simply ignored each other. Yesterday afternoon, however, magic seems to have spurned at a five-star hotel in Bandra where Priyanka Chopra was rehearsing for an event. It is learnt that Akshay Kumar, who also happened to be rehearsing for the same event, and Priyanka Chopra indulged in a ten-minute polite conversation. It’s a well-known fact that Akshay Kumar’s wife Twinkle is not fond of Priyanka Chopra. Some insiders also state that Twinkle made her husband promise that he’ll never work with Priyanka again. It is for this reason that Akshay stopped interacting with Priyanka completely. The actors who worked together in ‘Waqt’ last are known not to have made as much as even eye contact at Nita Ambani’s recent party, and Priyanka politely declined attending Vijender Singh’s bash as Akshay Kumar was a part of the guest list. However, last evening amicable conversation between Akshay and Priyanka is proof enough that the past is well behind them. A witness informs us, “The meeting was very amicable. It is good to see that the two of them have matured and decided to put the past behind them. Akshay watched Priyanka’s rehearsal. As she was getting down from the stage, their eyes met and the two of them started talking by exchanging pleasantries. Akshay even praised Priyanka’s dance performance.” Now that the two seem to be in conversation mode, the big question is, will they do movies together?
