Few couples in Bollywood have perplexed paparazzi as much as Priyanka Chopra and Harman Baweja have. Their now-on, now-off relationship has kept everyone guessing.
Now, after a year since her alleged ‘break-up’ from Harman, Priyanka was spotted having good time at the Diwali party thrown by the Bawejas last week. A few other Bollywood celebs were also at the party but the only person who got many heads turned was Priyanka. What was she doing there? Hadn’t she moved on from Harman?
We’re sure such questions buzzed in many a head as Priyanka walked in at the party late at night and stayed a few hours.

New Delhi Priyanka Chopra has a huge fan following, but who is the actress’s all-time idol? The man she admires most is adored by millions across the globe as well who else but superstar Shah Rukh Khan .
“Shah Rukh Khan is my idol and has always been. He has been a favourite actor of course, but I really look up to him also as a person . Looking at where he came from and how he became who he is today, I find it extremely fascinating,” Priyanka told in an interview.
“He started with theatre, did plays, got a break in TV — he turned from a regular college kid to a mega superstar... and all that completely on his own with no help from anybody in the film industry. I admire a lot about him and I think it’s just fantastic,” said the actress who has bagged the youth award icon for entertainment.
In the past, Priyanka has teamed up with Shah Rukh for Farhan Akhtar’s “Don” and did a cameo in a song with him in Farah Khan’s “Om Shanti Om” and also in “Billu”.
Priyanka and Hrithik Roshan bagged the youth icon awards in the entertainment field at the inaugural edition of the India Youth Icon Awards at an awards ceremony in Gurgaon Friday.

After playing 12 roles of bride-to-be in What's Your Raashee? , Priyanka Chopra is finally playing the role of a bride, not to one man but seven different men. The actress is gearing up for yet another multiple role in Vishal Bhardwaj's next titled 7 Husbands.
A source reveals, "Vishal was very impressed with Priyanka while working with her in Kaminey. He always referred to her as a dedicated and devoted actress. While scripting for 7 Husbands, without any second thought, he made up his mind to cast the actress in the movie. Vishal also had seen the rushes and promos of What's Your Raashee? with her 12 different avatars and thought she carried it off really well and could do justice to her film."

If one goes down the memory lane, one can comfortably say that with What's Your Raashee? , Priyanka Chopra may well be boasting of the biggest ever film written for a woman protagonist in the history of Indian cinema. After all, 80 years after legendary British actor Lupino Lane created a (yet unbroken) record for a male actor playing 24 roles in one single film, Only Me (1929), Priyanka Chopra is all set to emulate a similar feat when it comes to female actors. In What's Your Raashee (2009), she plays 12 different roles and the film has already been referred to Guinness Book of World Records for further consideration.
While there have been quite a few double role performances by leading ladies in the past, there aren't many movies where a Bollywood actress has played even a triple role, let aside coming close to enacting a dozen odd characters in a single outing. Even as the film is just a few hours away from release, Joginder Tuteja catches up with the Priyanka and gets conversing around the ego boost that she must have got once Ashutosh Gowariker approached her for the role. She also chats about the complexities involved in bringing the 12 characters alive on screen, her friendship with Harman Baweja as well as the contribution that he has made in her rise as a top Bollywood actor.

Bollywood director Ashutosh Gowariker, whose What's Your Rashee? premiered at the Toronto Film Festival
here Saturday, said he chose Priyanka Chopra to play the role of 12 brides-in-waiting to rule out beauty as a dominant theme in the film.
In "What's Your Rashee?" (What's your sun sign?), which is based on Madhu Rye's Gujarati novel "Kimball Ravenswood", Priyanka plays the role of 12 girls who meet bride-hunting NRI Yogesh Patel played by Hurman Baweja.
Yogesh, who has been flown in from Chicago by his parents to get married within just 10 days on the advice of the family astrologer, gets responses to his matrimonial advertisement from 165 girls. But since he cannot meet all of them in 10 days, he picks one from each sun sign to meet.
Asked why he didn't pick 12 different actresses for the 12 roles, Gowariker said at a press conference here: "If I had cast 12 different actresses, the audience would have wanted the fairest to win (Yogesh's hand) and thus beauty would have taken importance."
But he didn't want the choice of bride to be made on the basis of the beauty, he said.
