 While the pretty girl was flattered when the crowds chanted her name continuously for hours on end, the unit was slightly wary when the crowds got too close for comfort. News has it that additional security personnel had to be called to disperse the crowds, and though they quickly brought things under control, PC was completely stressed. The actress who has now developed a deep bond with Kashmir didn’t want any member of the crowd to be hurt. And she actually went out of her way to ensure that all was well.

 If Amitabh Bachchan can be the brand ambassador for Gujarat, Priyanka Chopra seems more than willing to play an equivalent role for Kashmir. And the buzz is that she is being actively considered by the State government’s Tourism department for just that.
After a week-long shooting schedule in the Valley, Priyanka is clearly enamoured by all things Kashmiri. In fact so idyllic was the trip that she is determined to return at the earliest — this time, with her entire family.
“I was in Kashmir two years ago for work and even this time, it’s for work. But I’m coming back here very soon with all my loved ones for a holiday. I was working non-stop for the film and got no time to just relax and soak in the clean air and natural beauty of the Valley. I want to come back just for that, and not for work.”

 "I can never step into his shoes because they are very big shoes to fill. Akshay is the original 'Khiladi'. He is super good at what he does," Priyanka said. "He has taken the show to a different level and my effort will be to take it forward from there. He has already made my job easier," she added.
The actor was the host for the reality show in 2009, which had 13 women - models and actresses - taking part in it. Akshay popularised the show with his daring stunts, which is an Indian version of the US reality show 'Fear Factor'. Now Priyanka will be anchoring the special IPL Edition of the show on Colors, which will have 13 Indian and international cricketers competing with each other.

 Naseer plays Priyanka’s oldest husband while 20-year-old Vivaan plays the youngest. Shooting is currently on at Coorg, and Priyanka will join the unit later. Said Naseer’s elder son Imaad, “Yes, my younger brother Vivaan is doing Vishal’s film along with my father, but I don’t know what role he’s playing.” The final list of Priyanka’s husbands in Saat Khoon Maaf (the title may be revised) is: Naseer, Irrfan Khan, John Abraham, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Anu Kapoor, an undisclosed Russian actor and Vivaan Shah.

 Vishal Bhardwaj is taking all the time in the world to get the casting of Priyanka Chopra's seven husbands right in his film Ek Batta Saat. Vishal wants the seven husbands to look as different as possible.
As reported earlier, Priyanka Chopra plays the protagonist in the film and kills all her seven husbands. A source reveals, “Vishal wants each actor to look different from the other. So far he has finalised Mohanlal, Naseeruddin Shah , John Abraham and Arshad Warsi. As is evident from the casting till now, each actor has a distinctive look - from skin colour, body structure, height, even personality. The script of the film is quite unconventional.”

 Indian actors continue to make waves abroad. While Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan have already gained legendary status overseas with continued presence amongst the who-is-who of the international arena, it is all the more heartening when the actor who goes on to find appreciation across the seas happens to be someone as young as Priyanka Chopra.
Recently, Palazzo Spini Feroni, the historic Florentine headquarters of Salvatore Ferragamo, hosted Priyanka Chopra for the first time. She visited the Florentine label as part of the Shoes for a Star project. This makes her the first Indian actress to join the likes of Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn.
Informs Priyanka's friend who is in know-how of what happened at the event. "She was presented with her personalised wooden last in a special ceremony at the Salvatore Ferragamo boutique at the Galleria Trident. She has now received her very own evening sandal with rhinestone crusted 13cm heel and platform. The material and colour too was of her choice. You should see the piece; it is one of its own kinds in the world."

 Bollywood bombshell Priyanka Chopra may play a role in Shivaraj Kumar 's 'Jogayya'. The film is a sequel to Shivanna's blockbuster 'Jogi', which broke many a collection record in Sandalwood.
Preparations for the film, considered to be the 100th one for Shivaraj, have been going on for the past six months and the film would go on floors in four months. Prem, who had introduced Mallika Sherawat and Priyanka Kothari to Kannada, is on talks with Priyanka Chopra's secretary to get arrange her dates for a song in the film. She will suit the character very well, says Prem.

 Many stars are known to throw tantrums. But it came to a surprise when we heard ‘Miss Professional’ Priyanka Chopra is creating ruckus on the sets of Siddharth Anand’s Anjaana Anjaani.
A source from the unit reveals, “Manish Malhotra is styling Priyanka, who is shooting for Anjaana Anjaani in the US. She has an extremely glam look in the film. While Priyanka likes the look Manish has given her, she has a lot of issues with the assistant stylist assigned to her by Manish. Priyanka isn’t happy at all with what the assistant stylist has been coming up with, right from the color combination, the outfit combination, etc. She is finding the combination of colors and clothes given by this stylist very jarring.”
