 It seems that starstruck Bollywood lovers have been more than happy to follow Priyanka Chopra on twitter - her fan club keeps swelling every single day.
As of 10th August, a massive 21, 770 people follow Priyanka Chopra on twitter! However it is quite evident that Piggy Chops has been using social networking to promote her latest film Kaminay, rather a curious marketing stunt for someone like Vishal Bharadwaj. C'mon Mr. Bharadwaj, you don't need to slip in boring gossip to the media about linking your stars, everyone will surely watch your film on the first day regardless!
Priyanka launched ‘The Kaminey Contest’ in which any participant who gives correct answer to the questions will get the movie’s audio CD personally autographed by Priyanka. Naturally, a colossal number of fans took part. Priyanka tweeted on the website: “Thanks for your overwhelming response to the contest...I'll be sending the 50 CDs with all my love soon.”
Meanwhile Mallika Sherawat has been seen bonding with Priyanka Chopra big time. The two actresses share greetings and as if belonging to a mutual admiration society do not leave a single opportunity to praise each other. Where Mallika is seen wishing PC for her continued success, PC is wishing Mallika the very best for her film Hisss.

 Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra says that she’s is much excited about her next coming flick Kaminey. The movie is going to be released sometime soon.
Vishal Bharadwaj’s Kaminey starrs Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, branding it as a ‘pathbreaking cinema’.
Talking about her upcoming flicks the actress says, “I have different feelings for different films. I’m very excited about Kaminey because it’s pathbreaking cinema.”
Priyanka adds, “On the other hand, I’m equally nervous and excited about What’s Your Rashee? because it was a huge challenge for me. I play 12 different characters in it.”

 There is something about our Piggy Chops that sets her apart from the crowd. May be her smile, her confidence or simply her hardwork and determination that slowly but steadily has established her as an actor in the industry.
Her portrayal in Madhur Bhandarkar's Fashion has the nostalgia of her initial days. We still remember her as a young confident woman whose life changed after she won Miss India crown. The beautiful damsel got the opportunity to answer Shah Rukh Khan's question who was one of the judges at the pageant. Little did she know that one day she would be his leading lady in Bollywood . Such is the magic of destiny.
When Priyanka won her first Filmfare award for her debut Bollywood vehicle Andaaz, everybody praised the beauty for her looks, but not much was said about her acting skills. After doing some ordinary films, Priyanka Chopra first impressed the critics as well as audience with her performance in Aitraaz. Her character in the flm not only oozed oomph but also gave some mainstream villains a run for their money.
Another memorable role for Piggy Chops was the out-and-out masala film Mujhse Shaadi Karogi with Salman Khan. She won millions of hearts by portraying the cute Rani.

The actress, who recently broke up with Shahid Kapoor, was seen enjoying the company of her former lover Harman Baweja in Khandala. The duo didn’t leave each other’s side at a party held after the shoot.
A source present at the party said, “Harman and Priyanka were shooting for a song for What’s Your Raashee? in the outskirts of Mumbai. Only this rain song was left to be shot before officially wrapping up the film’s shoot schedule. After we packed up late in the night, we decided to have a party at a bungalow nearby in Khandala. Harman and Priyanka too decided to attend the party.”

 Priyanka Chopra is in a hush-hush mood. After all she has become Controversy’s Child, and all and sundry want to ask her about the questions worth a million bucks – Are she and Shahid Kapur dating? What’s the relationship between Gerard Butler and her? Was Shahid miffed with her closeness with Gerard? Did she dump Harman Baweja just because he hasn’t proved to be ‘successful’... and Piggy Chops just doesn’t have the belly to handle all of that. So she simply urges us to go a little easy and stick to questions pertaining to films alone!
Currently shooting for ‘What’s Your Rashee’, directed by Ashutosh Gowariker – the same filmmaker who told Priyanka that Aishwarya Rai was more deserving of the Best Actress Award for ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ than she was for ‘Fashion’ – Priyanka Chopra treats the comment as a by-gone and again shrugs and chooses to not say much. But that doesn’t mean that the girl delivers less for ‘What’s Your Rashee?” She instead is learning contemporary jazz, and describes it as ‘painful’.

 Priyanka Chopra has been dropped from 7 Days In Paris following her high salary demands, according to reports.
The actress reportedly refused to negotiate with producers on her fee to star alongside Imran Khan in the film.
"This time, she was not so lucky. The producers would rather wait and sign someone else rather than pay such a huge sum."
Chopra recently secured a large salary for starring in Yash Raj Films's Impossible, opposite Uday Chopra.

 Bollywood starlet Priyanka Chopra might need to purchase a bigger mantel to display her awards on. The actress has had a busy year so far, bringing in 10 awards in the past six months. Just this past weekend (June 21, 2009) she was presented her 10th from the Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF).
The award is called the 'Jin Jue' Award and is the most coveted of the entire ceremony, well aren't you lucky Ms. Chopra. Priyanka Chopra is the first Indian actor to be given this award in recognition of her contribution to film.
Priyanka Chopra was happy to say that "I feel very privileged to receive this honor from the Shanghai International Film Festival. As an actor, it is very encouraging to be recognized for your work. For me, an award such as this on such a big international platform gives me an opportunity to present India and our cinema to the world."

 Their online friendship bloomed on Facebook and both the stars were just hooked to it, sharing their feelings and writing about each other. But soon their wall posts came to media glare.
As per reports, it was Shahid who suggested Priyanka to get a Twitter id, contrary to the last time when Priyanka asked Shahid to start a Facebook account. Sources add that the prime reason for the actors to be on Twitter is to promote their film Kaminey .
Shahid who made an account on Twitter last year was not so active in his posts, until now. Of late, he has taken on Twitter religiously. In fact both the stars are tweeting about ‘Kaminey’ and its release date. Priyanka seems impatient in her posts and Shahid is consoling her over the delay of movie release.
