 You got this right and I completely agree with you, this might just be another publicity pull because Priyanka Chopra's new film, 'Fashion' releases next week.
Anyhow, apparently Priyanka's 'very good friend' Harman Baweja, who was rumored to have been having an affair with her, is not doing anything of that sort.
This may send a few heads scratching since those heads have seen Priyanka and Harman exchanging sweet-nothings, smiling endearingly at each other and appearing at the same parties together. Most of the Bollywood couples flaunt their relationship status as much as they can, but Piggy and Harman go the opposite route. Oh wait, this may be a publicity stunt...moving on.
It was rumored that Harman and Priyanka broke up because their film Love Story 2050 came crashing down at the box office...critics lambasted and audiences loathed the movie, for obvious reasons.

 We saw Priyanka Chopra taking a dig at Katrina Kaif while speaking to a news channel. Apart from her ongoing long term verbal dual with Kareena Kapoor for years now, Priyanka seems to have opened another war front by taking on the reigning box-office queen Katrina.
Priyanka said, "I love to do films that have me in important roles and not where I am used just as a prop. I don't see any reason to do films where I have 4-5 songs and 15-20 scenes just because they are touted to be commercial successes. What is the point of acting in such films and giving seven back to back hits? That doesn't make you grow as an actress!"
Getting more venomous she further added, "I may have delivered a few flops but even those had me playing important roles. I have not and will never act in films where my role is inconsequential and that my only job in those films is to look pretty."

 Though actress Priyanka Chopra has had a number of releases this year but her stars, haven't exactly shone that bright at the box office. Here's a look at the fomer Miss World's poor run this year.
Actress Priyanka Chopra may have had the maximum number of releases this year but box office success seems to be well eluding her this year. Right from the science-fiction futuristic 'Love Story 2050' to her last release 'Drona', all sank without a trace but the actor is not complaining.
As Priyanka states, "I like doing films, which are different, that is why I picked up 'Love Story 2050'. It was something, which was never before done in India. I agree, it didn't do well - maybe India wasn't ready for it or maybe it was our mistake. But we tried really hard and our conviction was correct. My conviction in 'Drona' was exactly the same to play an action character like that."

 Director Madhur Bhandarkar wrapped up the final schedule of his forthcoming movie Fashion in Hyderabad with the entire star cast last week. Priyanka Chopra who was also shooting became very emotional as the shoot ended. Priyanka had become very attached to the entire team and was moved to tears when she realized they would all go their separate ways after the shoot.

 Madhur Bhandarkar is very happy with Priyanka Chopra’s work in “Fashion”, which is due for release Oct 29. She has “connected with emotions” in the film, he says complimenting her.In the film, Priyanka plays a Chandigarh girl aspiring to be a super-model.
“Priyanka has connected with emotions in ‘Fashion’, that she has never shown on screen before. And she’s a perfectionist,” Madhur told here.
Madhur is also a much-relieved man today. His worry that the release of “Fashion” could be delayed due to hitches have been put at rest.

 Priyanka Chopra is scared of horses but her determination to give her best enabled her to sail through a scene in Drona where she had to ride a horse with Abhishek Bachchan.
Priyanka plays Abhishek's bodyguard in Drona and tries to save him from evil in the film.
In one of the sequences, she had to ride a horse and no one on the sets knew that she has a phobia for horses. She got very nervous seeing the horse on the sets.

 After Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra has been chosen as the third heroine to make a special appearance in Priyadarshan's Billoo Barber and shake a leg with Shah Rukh Khan.
And Priyadarshan says it was a cakewalk for the superstar to get the leading ladies to do a cameo in his comedy.
"Since Shah Rukh plays a filmstar in the movie, I needed him to do some big glamorous song and dance numbers with some top heroines. I left the choice to Shah Rukh. I knew all he had to do was to pick up the phone and ask any of his leading
ladies," Priyadarshan revealed. |
